Bayero University, Kano, BUK expels 22 students over examination misconduct.
The University Senate has expelled twenty two (22) Postgraduate and Undergraduate students for examination misconduct, according to a statement signed by the University Examination Officer, Dr. Yusuf M. Mohammed for Registrar, Fatima Binta Mohammed.
The Senate at its 356th meeting held on Wednesday, 25th October, 2017 upon consideration of a Submission from Senate Committee on Examinations Misconduct and Leakages, approved as follows:-
a) The following candidates were expelled for being involved in examination misconduct in accordance with category 4.2(Ai – Xi) and 19:17(Ai – Xi) of the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies (GRGPS) and General Examinations and Academic Regulations (GEAR):
According to the statement, the following candidates were warned for being involved in examination misconduct in accordance with category 3.4.2(Ci – Xi) and 19:17(Ci – Xi) of the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies(GRGPS) and General Examinations and Academic Regulations(GEAR): |

Similarly, the following candidates were exonerated since a case of examination misconduct could not be established against them and their respective departments are requested to release their results and those with missing booklets are recommended for incomplete grading in the course indicated:
Meanwhile the cases of the following candidates were deferred pending further investigation by their respective Faculties:
