Students of University of Ilorin who took oath of matriculation in less than 48hrs has proven to be unfaithful with their oath. This is as a result of their actions at the university park between the hours of 19:00 to 20:00. The students who couldn't pay the sacrifice of being patient put on the actions as against the rules and identity of the university by breaking the door of a commercial vehicle popularly called kórópe and the window of another vehicle.
However, members of the Students' Union who were present have tried all possible best to calm the situation and urged the students to exercise patience but all to no avail. The university security officers upon arrival at the park caught some students red handed while trying to bully a driver and rushing into his commercial bus.
Meanwhile, a student had earlier been arrested by a security officer after smashing a pipe on a fellow students (cadet). As a result of the above, all korope drivers have parked their vehicles as more than twenty korope were seen parked in front of the Students' Union Building (SUB).
